Awesome gluten free brunch options!

Our first visit was a huge success from the friendly and personable service to delicious and plentiful gluten free brunch options for our celiac family members. Kids were made to feel welcome.

We ate on the rooftop deck while we enjoyed an excellent playlist of musical selections from the likes of Talking Heads, Echo and the Bunnymen, Davis Bowie, Brian Eno, The Strokes, and even my Bloody Valentine. Tasty food and discerning music. Yum!

Each of these brunch items were exceptional:

"Elotes" Fritters GF - my personal favorite

Shrimp & Grits GF

Steak & Eggs GF

Heirloom Tomato Salad GF

Shrimp Tacos GF

Definitely will be back when in Richmond!

NOT SAFE. They put gluten in he fryer but label the items gf and assured me it was safe.

I went in the first time and they assured me that no gluten went into the deep fryer. Second time I came, the kitchen told me “you are totally safe with the deep fryer - it’s so hot that the fryer kills the gluten from the chick pea fritters.” Uhhh - the fact that the kitchen believes this easily google-able myth makes me 100% not confident in their allergy procedures. Will not be dining her again.

The menu is small, as mentioned, but there were a few choices in each category-apps, entrees and desserts. We had frites, the organic chicken (my husband had the shrimp and grits ) and I got a lemon pie with almond crust for dessert. The waitress seemed knowledgeable.

We felt so safe with eating here that we had our wedding reception here. The food is amazing and so much care goes into each dish. The owner and staff are very careful and aware of cross-contamination. Such good food!!

Very nice spot. Small menu but everything is labeled well (gf or gf option, also veg and vegan). Several ciders and cocktails here too. I had steak frites and the pickle pot and both were delicious!
