Potomac Pizza

I was surprised to see the negative reviews here because my daughter has celiac and we eat here all the time without a problem. I just spoke to an employee who assured me there is no flour in the sauce. We think the pizzas taste great. They are cooked on an aluminum plate so the pizzas don’t touch the oven, and a separate pizza cutter is used.

Celiac friendly?

Yes

Pizza crust was not the best. I ordered it and it came completely stuck to the bottom. I basically had to rip it off into small pieces. It was also extremely mushy. Clearly not super experienced in gluten free cooking.

The menu is misleading regarding their advertised gluten free pizza. The waiter informed me, after some questioning, that the crust is gluten free but the sauce is not! They add flour to their pizza sauce! It was nice of the waiter to inform me so I didn't get sick.

Celiac friendly?

No

I had the gf pizza. I think it was a frozen crust and they add whatever toppings you want on it. The toppings were great but the crust was so-so. I believe they assemble the gf pizza in a separate area from the regular stuff. I have Celiac's and I didn't get sick from it.

the gluten free crust was great! it was not mushy and I was thrilled to finally have pizza

We only order the pizza as it's the only option but the pizza is very good.

Very yummy, floppy crust, delivered. Came in a metal tin. I just are it and hope there are no cc issues, if I don't update this post, then I had no problems!!!! And delicious!

they have great gluten free pizza and take steps to ensure that there is no cross contamination. lately the service has not been great.
