Staff clueless. The meatless burger listed a gluten free bun. I attempted to order the frilled chicken club but asked for gf bun. She kept saying club is made on toast so could gf bun be on side. I kept saying celiac, cant have the dark toast she was referring to. I eventually ordered a Cobb salad, after I asked what cheese curds were, she explained a cheese crumble, so I was going to try. My salad came with deep fat fried cheese curds in it. I recommend you go elsewhere to be safe.
The staff shared that although marked as gluten free on the menu, there is no dedicated fryer and gluten is put in the fryer through other things. This eliminates wings and the brussel sprouts, both indicated as gluten free. I do appreciate the staff transparency in how it is prepared.
The staff wasn't knowledgeable about celiac but accommodating enough for me to order a super tasty salad and not get any symptoms afterwards. I did the build your own salad with bacon, smoked cheddar, parmesan, salmon and gouda ranch (to die for). They have gluten free items marked on menu. Burgers have GF bun option, but share same surface as gluten items apparently
This bar and restaurant has numerous GF options. The meal choices include salads and meals that are GF, and they also stock a GF english muffin for breakfast. At the bar they have both cider and GF beer available, with a great happy hour from 3-6! They are located inside the Hyatt.
