Pretty strange experience. I called ahead of time to get an idea of what items are gluten free and celiac safe and I asked about their fries and Caesar salad dressing. They told me their fries go into a separate deep fryer but can’t guarantee their celiac safe - that’s fine. But when I asked about the Caesar dressing, they gave me the reasons “can’t promise it’s gluten free”….. so I asked if they make it in house or if it’s a brand of dressing and they informed me it’s Kraft. The ingredients are simple to read on the packaging so that leads me to think that they don’t care about helping me find GF options and I can’t necessarily trust the servers or Chef’s knowledge.

We went here for Le Burger week and were very well accommodated. The only modification needed was to put the burger between two slices of GF bread (they don’t have actual buns) but it was DELICIOUS bread and tasted very good! The servers were busy but came back multiple times to check on things and answer questions, which made me feel very safe.

Nestled in beautiful Kildonan park the restaurant has great views indoor and outdoor. Staff accommodating with celiac gluten free, modified my breakfast to make it safe. Separate toaster, and they were educated on minimizing contamination risk. Excellent coffee!
