Was excited to know they took precautions for their burritos. I was told by a server that the put separate sheets on the grill/press with the burrito in it to prevent cross contamination, and the wrap itself is gluten free (must ask for this though). Ate here three times, no issues! It gets STUPID BUSY during lunch though 11:30am to 1pm roughly.
I was told to stay away from sandwiches though, and bowls should be okay (but please double check)
Order: Spanish burrito with gf wrap, salsa was okay to eat as well no issues!
Every time I have ordered, I have been asked about my allergies and staff has been knowledgeable enough to share what’s available on the menu for me. Be sure to tell them to clean surfaces, though, as others have said they didn’t for them. I have always just mentioned cleaning the surfaces and never had problems. This place is a weekly go-to for breakfast!
I used to love going to pressed, Nashua and Burlington, but I am very sick today after having a wrap and soup both of which I was told were gluten free. :( I’m sad because this was my go to place but I definitely can’t go back now. I have celiac disease but not even as sensitive as some others, and still I am really sick because of cross contamination or flour in the soup or something. On the upside, I have never had a problem with the packaged baked goods that they make. Very inconsistent here :(
This place looks really promising, they have a GF wrap, but I left without ordering anything since it was certain that I would be taking chances. There is no list of what is GF - sauces, dressings. One person did say that everything is GF except the eggplant and the clam chowder. If I ordered a GF wrap, it was not clear what I could have in it, and it was very clear that they didn't understand GF well enough to make sure that my GF wrap didn't get someone else's crumbs on it.
I am a VERY sensitive celiac, I eat here at least once a week, and I've never gotten sick once. The gluten free wraps are delicious. I love the breakfast burritos and the pollo loco panini. Make sure you order GF sandwiches in person (even though they have a drive thru) - staff is knowledgeable but they get busy during peak hours so better safe than sorry. The peanut butter power smoothie is so freaking good!
The food was delicious! I've been sick for days now though. I'm a very sensitive celiac and I would NOT recommend eating there if you are also. My company ordered me a specific GF wrap. I had not researched their practices prior to eating there so I was hesitant but, I tried it anyway. Not worth the risk again.
Asking the server what can be made gluten free and they didn't seam to know what is or is not gluten free. It's great that they carry GF free bread but if the stuff going in it isn't GF than you have no idea what your getting. Also pressed on a press that has regular bread on it. Not gf. Left without eating not worth getting sick.
All of their paninis can be put on a gluten free wrap, which is awesome. I have been hesitant to try anything other than a panini because there isn't much allergen information on the other menu items. I have eaten here 12+ times and have never had a problem. The smoothies are delicious as well.
Love the free cleansing water with lemon, ginger and mint. Sandwiches are amazing. Picnic tables to eat outside. Great gf cookies with chocolate chips. Those are pricey, though. Huge sandwich selection. I think qraos are the only gf bread option, though.
The website says they have gluten free bagels but I was just told they had gluten free wraps only.
Gluten free paninis are amazing!! Almond milk lattes and a staff who is friendly this place is great. They have good selection of gf treats my daughter likes their cookies. The bonus, this place has a drive through!!!! I called ahead and my order was ready when we pulled up 10 min later. It's nice to have a healthy gf drive thru option in Nashua where we live. This busy mom with celiac appreciates it :-)
Pressed Cafe has fresh juices and smoothies. Also has coffee and tons of different sandwiches, wraps etc. All of the sandwich options can be made into gluten free. The panini presses they use are dedicated gluten free. I have eaten here several times with no problems.
