Great steak and dessert. Many GF items and the staff were amazingly caring and careful. Everything marked and they double checked the few tough questions I asked. Sold meal and would recommend to anyone with GF/Celiac visiting the area. My husband (none celiac) loved his meal and said the Cullen skink and mac and cheese were quite good. We split a wonderful sticky toffee GF desert that I would get again in a heartbeat.

Ordered a steak, which was very good, as was the gluten free sauce. But sadly their fries are not GF, but they said they would switch it for a salad… but it was a salad with zero dressing, and they charged me 2 pounds for it?! Very weird. The menu was very clear and there were a ton of other GF options, tragically ended up with a weird dry salad situation.

Menu has items marked and I was able to make choices that were delicious. I had the western isles sea bass which was wonderful and played beautifully. I finished off with the gf option of the sticky toffee pudding which was a nice way to end the meal. Each plate served to me was confirmed as gf.

Really well labelled menu with lots of options. No separate fryer but staff were aware this would be an issue and asked if I was happy with it or not. Being GF didn't feel like a problem

Gluten free choices marked on the menu. Selection of meat and fish/seafood dishes but also vegetarian options. Nice interior and also outdoor seating. Great view over the river and castle.
