I had a chocolate cake donut. A dozen of them was avoid $50, so they were incredibly expensive. The taste left much to be desired. I think if you go with the expectant of a donut in your head you will be disappointed. If you think of it more as a muffin in the shape of a donut it isn’t terrible. Missed the mark in my book.
It was alright. I had a gluten free ultimate blueberry cheesecake doughnut. As a baker myself I feel the doughnut leaves much to be improved upon. It was moist but there wasn’t enough topping and it left the doughnut feeling a bit dry and quite flavorless. They do give you the option of creating any of their regular doughnuts in gluten free form, but they make it on the spot in the back of house. You have no way of knowing if the staff member changed gloves or have dedicated kitchen space. They did however place my doughnut in the same box as the other doughnuts which leaves me with a VERY uneasy feeling. I don’t recommend going here if you have celiacs or a very severe intolerance.
