They have a lot of GF food. They have amazing cheese curds and can get a crispy chicken sandwich on GF bun. The fries are GF also. Staff is very knowledgeable.

The cheese curds were great! Don’t eat the pizza unless u make sure they cut it with a clean cutter. Thank heavens I asked before I ate it or it would have been sick. The fries were good along with the chicken sandwich. It was pricy. I can’t say I will be back.

I had the GF cheese curds and the GF spicy chicken. The waitress was very knowledgeable and assured me their coatings were gluten free rice flour and no gluten was ever in their fryers. They also left off the spicy sauce on my chicken, I can’t have anything spicy. The cheese curds were delicious and the non gf people at my table also enjoyed them. She offered gf barbecue sauce for my chicken instead of the spicy sauce. The chicken was also excellent. I’m highly sensitive and it takes very little gluten to cause symptoms. I’ve had no symptoms!

We came here on a Saturday night for dinner. The restaurant wasn’t too busy; we were seated after about 5 minutes. It’s got a fun vibe and relaxed atmosphere. Most of the staff is pretty friendly. The food is GREAT. Our server informed us that everything that gets fried is breaded with rice flour so it’s all celiac safe. First time our daughter has ever got to try cheese curds! 🙌 Our order was cheese curds, brisket tacos, steak, a kids grilled cheese (not gf), seasonal pizza (not gf), and a cocktail. All of the food was done very well, gluten free or not.

I really enjoyed my visit to Public. I ordered the cheese curds and the fried chicken sandwich. The cheese curds were awesome! My chick sandwich (sans pickles) was a bit too spicy, but very good. The fries were amazing! Our service was excellent.

My husband (not GF) did not enjoy his smash burger and said the meat was "gamey." He also would prefer regular (unseasoned) French fries and I'm not sure those are offered.
