The food and the service were wonderful. When the server first came to the table, I told him I had celiac disease. He replied, “So no cross contamination then. We only have one fryer so those items aren’t gluten free. The grill is used to toast buns. Unless you’re having a steak, everything else can be cooked in a clean pan.” He made recommendations about items and checked back frequently
Love this local gem. Small restaurant, great menu and awesome service. They have a dedicated menu of all of their gluten free items, but the menu is primarily for people that WANT to eat gluten free, not necessarily for people that NEED to eat gluten free. But that was no problem. As soon as I let our server know someone in our party had Celiac, the owner came right over and made sure everything was handled perfectly. He also immediately informed me that their gluten free french fries are cooked in the same fryer as other gluten items and that we should avoid them. We ended up with a great tasting and safe gluten-free dish. The owner also told us that they will soon have gluten free bread available daily. I can't wait to go back!
