They had a whole paragraph of disclaimer about gluten sensitivity. They had no dedicated facility. Also, they list French fries on the “gluten sensitive” menu, but the waiter said they definitely were not gluten free. What else on the menu is not really gluten free? All that totally scared me so I just ate a house salad with no dressing. That worked. I loved the live music. Next time, I’ll eat before I go.

I’ve never been impressed with their flavors here- everything from steamed veggies to fish is way over spiced and peppered to the point where your mouth burns and you can’t taste anything else :(

They said the fries were fried separate, but I was up part of the night with stomach problems. Ate at same restaurant in Murfreeboro TN. They told me fries are fried with breaded foods! Food much better in Murfreeboro-we had taco salads!

Menu is marked in red with items that are gluten free. French fries are not fried in a dedicated fryer. However, server had a list of side items that are gluten free.

Ate dinner here and it was great. Like another reviewer said, they even offer a GF hushpuppy, which was great. I had to ask to confirm, as I did not expect that. I ate the shrimp and grits and it was very good. Regarding the price, it is not expensive, it is average priced. I think the three $ is a bit much. Waitress was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable (we had two, as one was in training).

Food & service were great! Had the shrimp & grits. Could improve the gluten free menu options easily with a few modifications, felt like there weren't many options. Waiter was very nice but not knowledgeable about gluten.

We were in town from Cincinnati for my daughters soccer tournament in October and absolutely loved this restaurant. My family, especially my daughters, want to visit Franklin again and eat here. The food was delicious! Our server Brandt was very knowledgeable about Celiacs Disease and was extremely helpful. The historic downtown area of Franklin is like those cute little towns you see in the Hallmark movies and has many little specialty shops.

****This review was meant for Puckett's Grocer & Restaurant in Franklin, TN. I tried removing review from Puckett's Boathouse but was unsuccessful. I have never been to Puckett's Boathouse.

This place is wildly popular and food smelled heavenly while we waited. On the plus side, they had GF menu. I ordered brisket off of it with French fries. Did not question anything bc both items were on GF menu. I got sick immediately after my meal, with painful cramps. I spoke with the manager and waiter telling him I was sick. They said French fries were not cooked in designated fryer, only sweet potatoes fries were. When I pointed out and showed them bc he didn't believe me (while holding my stomach) that regular fries were on GF menu, manager's response was "oh, sorry." They offered to comp meal but not so sure he took me seriously when I said I didn't care about that, that most importantly they need to edit menu. Brisket was good but salty. Entire experience tainted by incompetent, irresponsible advertising!
