The staff was very knowledgeable but there were VERY few options. They were out of avocados so I got the avocado salad without avocados and added chicken breast which they charged me $9 for - it was a $27 salad with basically lettuce an a little chicken. The mofongo was NOT gluten free and many other options were also fried. Over priced and not worth it. I did not get sick but would not recommend or go again.
We ate here for dinner. Everything was delicious. Large selection of choices. I had the flat iron steak, rice, and beans, and I tried the mofongo, which was the best I ever had. The waiter was knowledgeable about celiac. I brought a Spanish celiac gluten-free card with me.
I was fairly confident just looking at the menu and I'm very glad we ended up going here! Visited this restaurant on the last day of our week-long trip and it was the best meal we had the entire time. Our waiter had been food safety certified for over 20 years and was confident in what did and didn't have gluten. I ended up oredering the stuffed avocado with skirt steak and rice and beans on the side. I wish we had discovered this restaurant earlier!
