They do have a lot of gluten free and they do have fries that are gluten free and everything is supposed to be to be made using only 100% Canola. Today when we came they got a wrong order of their oil that I guess whatever company they use sent them a replacement with soy. The owner is actually allergic to soy and has made this place a soy free place. So unfortunately we came on the day they got the wrong order so even though fries were GF I couldn’t have them. They are fixing this issue this week and bringing it back to all 100% canola. So if you have a soy allergy too just call and ask if they fixed the soy oil issue and are back to Canola. We will come back once it’s fixed.
The staff is incredibly helpful and pointed out the items that were marked as gluten free on the menu. Most of the toppings were gluten free, except for a handful, and a gluten free bun was available. Fries and tots are prepared in a separate dedicated fryer (and the tots are crispy and delicious). I got the Pun’k burger without the onion ring, tots, and a B&W shake and was full for hours.
When going in person, it's great, small but responsive. However, we ordered via GrubHub this evening, and not only did they initially forget to send along my son's meal, I consumed some of a milkshake that contained gluten that was not listed on the ingredients list on GH. Only checking over the bill (because my father in law is traveling on business, so his meal is covered by his per diem) did I see that it was listed differently on the check (pumpkin speculoos) versus the website (just pumpkin, speculoos was not on the ingredients list). I'm disappointed, as now I'm unsure if I accidentally ate gluten or not (maybe I got the correct shake that was gluten free, but maybe the website was wrong about ingredients???), plus it's not like I had the chance (or desire, frankly) to tip the GH driver twice, as the app doesn't account for redelivery. I will probably eat there again, but only in person where I can ask questions, instead of having to rely on what the menu or website says, and where they can't forget an entire meal. I selected not celiac friendly, but only for ordering via GH. In person, I think they are generally safe.
