Staff very knowledgable and helpful. Items marked GF on the menu are not always prepared in a safe way, though. They use a shared fryer so I would definitely avoid any fried items. Server came back and helped me change my order after she realized the empanadas were fried.
At 1st glance, this is just a "hole in the wall" eatery. However it came up Gluten Friendly and there weren't many options open at 3:30pm. BUT the food was FANTASTIC! It is South American not to be confused with Mexican. Similar but WAY more nuanced in flavor versus heat in terms of spice. They have PLENTY of GF selections so you don't feel like you are settling when you order. You actually can order from almost everything. The staff was way friendly and the place filled fast. This place could easily become a favorite!
I have celiac disease and I was completely satisfied and safe with the food here. Good portions, delicious food, clearly marked menus and specials, knowledgeable staff, and no ill effects. Not very young-kid friendly and a little chilly, but no complaints because the food was delicious.
