I worked there back in 2021, thrown into the food buisness at 14 working illegally, being under paid, degraded, and disrespected as a person. I got maybe 3-4 hours of training and was hired but me and all of my high school coworkers had no experience making food. For the grand opening I worked with just ONE other person. Absolutely ridiculous. We knew nothing about food or how to cook it and were made to feel stupid and personally I felt very small. Never got a break working 7-7 1/2 hours on a busy Sunday or Saturday and when I did get the chance to sit down I sat on a crate. I waited on their children who they had working illegally as well and I ended up having my last shift when I had to split tips with his 8 year old daughter whom was only swiping peoples card while I was the ONLY one working and waiting on everyone. The brats would complain that their smoothies were too warm and then they would assume that it was something I was doing and I clearly remember being told “you can’t be making them like that for customers” maybe it’s because their smoothie machines were overheating and I had to make 4 smoothies fastly as I was being nagged by my boss. BTW I’m leaving this review because I’ve just found out that they moved back to New York after closing in westford, where I worked. Once again, I had no training in food services and didn’t know how to do much so when I did mess something up I was screamed at. And by screamed at I mean yelled at me while spit was flying out of his mouth. Everyone quit and I was the only one left. I watched him wipe his nose and then continue to cut the baklava which is absolutely disgusting. Unsanitary and cruel people. Have fun eating booger deserts in New York!
