The only thing gluten free, according to our server, is the burrito bowl with chicken. Everything else is heated on the grill which is also used for gluten containing products. It was very good with rice, tobeans, tomatoes, guacamole, and cheese. Gluten free ciders also available. Indoor, patio, and outside dining with music.

This is my second time coming here- the servers were very knowledgeable about celiac and let me know what options were safe for me to have. I got a veggie burrito bowl and it was a great portion size and very delicious.
I asked my server about the chips and she said that normally they are gluten free because they are the only things fried there, however the had made Chile rellano the night prior and oil had not been changed yet. So if you do dine here, double check about the chips before you indulge.
Had a great patio!

I asked the gentleman when I went in if they could do GF for an allergy I always say allergy so they'll understand) . He looked doubtful but then asked if it was an allergy or celiac. What?? In 5 years I think that's only the second time that's happened. He proceeded to tell me each thing I could or couldn't have. Menu has lots marked GF but he pointed out most had a chance for cross contamination. I had the salad and could also have had the burrito bowl. He steered me away from the carnitas as there is beer in the sauce. Idk if everyone there is as knowledgeable about celiac as he is, or if he's always there (it's a small place) but I was thrilled with the experience and felt I was in good hands.

This restaurant was awesome. The hostess explained that everything on the menu is gf except for the burritos and quesadillas. Nevertheless, they used separate cooking utensils/pans to make my chicken enchiladas. Beans and rice are gf and cooked separately. Chips are cooked in a dedicated fryer. All staff I interacted with were knowedgable about cc and celiac disease. I had a Julian apple margarita which is made with Julian Hard Cider (marked gf on bottle). All the food was delicious. This is a wonferful find in Julian and one my family will definitely enjoy again.

The staff was very knowledgeable of cross contamination and celiac. We ordered chicken tacos, beans and rice. They make their own homemade chips in a dedicated fryer. Food was delicious. My son was so happy to eat chips.
