Visited here for the third time, each time the waiting staff have been incredible with catering for gf. The waitress today explained the whole process of how the food is handled in the kitchen even though I didn’t ask, it’s so refreshing to go to a restaurant/pub that truly cares about their customers allergies and dietary restrictions.
I have the fish and chips, the batter is so crispy and delicious, they also have Freedam GF and alcohol free beer on draft here which is so good.
I’ve been here before for the roast dinner and it was also excellent. Will keep coming back again and again
The Fish and Chips were out of this world, they are SUPER knowledgeable and the menu is extensive for GF plus they have GF Onion Rings, which are easily the best I’ve had since diagnosis! I could order dessert and got to have Sticky Toffee pudding! Add on that they have GF beer on tap and in a bottle and made a point to distinguish which would be a risk for cross contamination.
Highly suggest reservations. Close to Westminster Abby for tourist!
The wait staff was knowledgeable and so friendly! The only fish and chips they have are gf and it was absolutely delicious. It was the cutest little pub. I loved being able to eat at an English pub, have delicious food, and feel like I got to enjoy a real British meal. The onion rings were amazing also. They have gf beer, so you can also have a pint in a pub! They had sticky toffee pudding that was to die for! All gf!!!! If you are gf please visit this place while in London! You will be so happy you did ❤
My celiac son and I had the vegetable curry and the fish and chips and we were fine, no reaction. They have a dedicated GF fryer. You can talk to the staff about your food allergies. There is a GF brownie but beware if you have a nut allergy, as I think it has walnuts. Overall it’s a nice standard London pub with some good GF options.
“Pub” doesn’t do this place justice. Warm and pleasing atmosphere, more elegant vibe than I expected. Delicious food, great service. Classic pub favourites as well as more elevated options - all really enjoyable. Extensive gluten free menu and felt very safe. Even sticky toffee pudding!! Fabulous. Highly recommend.
It was fantastic to finally try fish and chips! The fryer is dedicated gluten free, and the staff are very knowledgeable with cross contamination prevention. Therefore as a celiac I was able to enjoy the food and did not get sick. Additionally, the food was delicious! Don’t forget to save room for their brownie and ice cream, which is also celiac-safe.
On my visit to London, I really wanted to have fish and chips. I found this pub through the find me gluten-free app. The fish and chips were outstanding. The gluten-free fish and chips are on the main menu because all of their fish and chips are gluten-free. I was elated to be able to have genuine fish and chips without endangering my gluten-free diet. My husband who is not gluten-free thought that they were the best fish and chips that he had had throughout our London visit. the pub was clean and the staff was more than friendly. It is in walking distance from Victoria station.
Wow! I had my first fish in chips since I was diagnosed celiac over 12 years ago! Simply amazing fried fish and chips. It was battered in their gluten free pale ale and the chip(french fries) were made in a separate frier. They even squeezed us in despite a table not being open. Excellent service!
Great experience . Jon assured me they took strict protocols with Coeliacs. Great fish cake and side salad and the fish and chips is battered in gf beer batter using gf beer. They do serve non gluten items so there’s always the precautionary risk statement but I am a symptomatic celiac and was great after eating here.
Great menu with gf clearly marked. I found it through this app. We had the beer battered fish and chips, and yes it was all gf, and some chicken wings for starters. Absolutely delicious and no issues with my stomach! Close to West End if you’re looking for somewhere close by.
Sunday roast was delicious. Same as the standard meal minus the Yorkshire pudding. Gluten free deserts available, including sticky toffee pudding.
We wanted to make sure we got a pub experience with our celiac daughter and our son (who isn’t) and who wanted a birthday Guinness pint…We got both and a super celiac safe menu. Staff was super friendly and helpful and the food was fabulous! Onion rings were fresh made, and most of the menu is GF!
