This restaurant serves mexican food, tacos, burritos, mexican bowls, etc. Almost every ingredients you can put in your meal arr gluten-free (meat, vegetables, cheese, salsa, sour creme). They have a descriptive menu on their website with all the gluten-free options. The employees use gloves to pick up the ingredients and people often order burritos and quesadillas, so they do touch the gluten filled food. I often ask the employee who serves me to change gloves while telling them that I have coeliac disease, and they do so gladly. I went a couple of times and in different cities, and most of the time, the employees know about the gluten-free menu. Some even considered taking the ingredients from the backup pots to prevent cross contaminations, but not always. Like I said, I have severe coeliac disease (if I eat a small amount of gluten I get the worst stomach ache and potentially get sick) and I have never gotten any allergic reactions from this place. The food is very good too !
I checked the website for the allergen menu before going to Quesada. It was easy to access and read. I decided to order a burrito bowl. When I got to the restaurant, they refused to comply with a couple of my requests to try to avoid obvious cross contamination. I won't go back, and do not recommend if you are worried about cross contamination.
