This place as well as the adjoining coffee shop & bakery is 100% gluten free. They have vegetarian and vegan options. I had the arepa with beef, plantain and cottage cheese. It was absolutely delicious, quite filling and I didn’t get sick. Can recommend this place! Be aware that they’re only open during the day and close at 7.

We ate at Rada Arepa twice during our three-night stay in Heidelberg. We had some of their bowls and various empanadas and all were delicious. This small restaurant is dedicated gluten free with personnel that were very friendly and welcoming.

Very tasteful arepa with avocado, mayonaise and chicken mixed and cheese. I also took the housemade limonade, which was refreshing and I liked it: not too sweet. I also took a piece of flan for the afternoon: delicious and safe! The owner and his wife (?) are very friendly. I definitely go back.

Such a lovely little spot! I could not believe this was 100% gluten free place. I get I'll nearly every time I travel due to even the smallest cross contamination, cumulative over days of travel. It is so night to eat somewhere that I know won't add to my illness and autoimmune load!

Wonderful little cafe with very nice staff and good food. We visited multiple times and had a variety of items during our stay in Heidelberg.

They were unexpectedly closing early on the night we drove into town and we got there as they were shutting down but we asked for literally anything they had on hand and they were super kind serving up empanadas and basic arepas. The bowls and other dishes were excellent.

They work with the coffee shop next door which has all of the GF desserts in their case.

Rada arepas and the coffee house next door are both 100% dedicated and absolutely delicious. We went here three times during our visit and enjoyed the arepas, empanadas, bowls, and delicious cakes and coffees. The vegan empanadas were our favorite. The staff here were incredibly accommodating, even serving our Celiac kids after closing hours when we were desperate to find safe food! Awesome place.

This is always my go-to for lunch in Heidelberg! All foods both on the restaurant and café side are gluten free and delicious. So after eating an arepa you can always get some coffee and cake from the other store side as a dessert :)

Also getting takeaway empanadas is always a great snack!

What a very cool place! Not only is everything 100% gluten free, but they have so many options!

They offer arepas, bowls, empanadas,and next door they have all their gluten free desserts! They have cakes, some cookies and specialty South American cakes. They also offer coffee, cappuccinos, etc.

The people were very friendly and welcoming. They speak English, Spanish and German. Chatted with the owners and they were absolutely genuine!

Ordered the empanada and tres leche cake! OMG so flavorful! Will def go back for an arepa and bowl next time. Really, really good!

Perfekt to-go food for any celiac going the extra safe way! Very delicious arepas and empanadas. It almost feels like being normal again and being able to try new flavours! I always stop here to get something, even if I‘m not hungry. In summer I recommend to order some arepas and empanadas to go and then eat them by the river with friends :)

Excellent little restaurant in the heart of Heidelberg. Everything is gluten free and no risk of cross contamination. The arepas were very tasty! They also have a coffee and cake shop next door. The coffee was amazing! We didn't eat a cake because we were too full from lunch but will definitely go again!

This is a dedicated glutenfree restaurant with vegan, vegetarian and meat options. The arepa’s are very good. The space is rather small, there’s not a lot of seating. I had the arepa clasico con queso, which is low fodmap friendly.

We traveled out of our way to go to this restaurant. The food was delicious. They were very knowledgeable, and we even tried some of the desserts in addition to the lunch items. We also used a Nima tester, and everything came back without any gluten. Also, we use a Nima tester all of the time, but are not sponsored by Nima.

Great place in downtown Heidelberg. My wife and daughter had the chicken arepas and I was torn between ordering the pulled beef bowl (Pabellon Criollo) or an arepa, when the person who served me asked if I wanted a Pabellon Criollo Arepa, which was the best of both worlds and exactly what I wanted. It also turned out to be absolutely delicious. The next day we went back just for a cappuccino because Rada also roasts its own coffee. Very enjoyable. We even had the pleasure to chat for a while with the owner and meet her son. Both are lovely people. We are looking forward to trying some of the many kinds of cake tomorrow.

Incredibly hard to eat but sooo good and everything is gluten-free! Their sign even says that it’s celiac safe, so I felt very safe and enjoyed every bite! Vegan options available. Had the veggie arepas with vegan empanadas and would recommend the Tomate salsa to it. Very nice staff!

Everything is gluten free! Vegan options are also possible. Had a traditional Venezuelan meal with vegan cheese. They mixed up the order but immediately offered to bring a new meal and checked whether it was because I am lactose intolerant, thus seem to be aware of food intolerances! Can definitely recommend:)

Delicious food and the kindest people! The arepas are a must-have, but I‘m also looking forward to trying their empanadas and bowls! They have arepas with meat, but they also offer plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. If you’re in Heidelberg, definitely check them out!

(They are also connected to a coffee shop called Rada Coffee and Rösterei, which I haven’t tried yet and am unsure of whether it’s gf, but I will update this review when I find out)
