The hosts immediately asked us if we had any allergies. I said gluten, and they reassured us they had a ton of GF items.
Their menu is marked with “gluten friendly” items. I’d say the menu was 80% GF as an option. GF burger buns and pizza crusts, too.
Our server informed us that their kitchen takes CC seriously and has allergen protocols. I’m pleased to report that their French fries are cooked in separate oil. And the GF pasta is cooked in a separate pot.
The server was very kind. She mentioned her sister has Celiac. And she wagered that she serves at least one GF person per shift.
The person who dropped off our food confirmed I had the GF meal before putting my dish down. I always appreciate when the service staff is coordinated and sensitive to allergies.
All told, I was impressed with the variety of GF options. The food itself is good, not great. However, that was fine by me; the ambience and the friendly staff more than made up for it.
Love that they list GF on the menu. It saves having to ask a server a ton of questions. Salads are gluten free but with celiac, the fryer is not gluten free or the pizza oven. They try their best with the pizza on a different pan if you ask and I have never gotten sick. Tons of gluten free items along with gf cauliflower crust and gf bun for sandwiches.
