Fantastic build-your-own pizza place, ready nice and quick! Options include a phenomenally delicious gluten-free dough crust, or "No-Doh" options based on spinach or parmesan, and salads.
If you tell them "gluten free, allergy" (as opposed to "preference"), this location consistently (for me, at least) does a great job with safety measures: gluten-free crust kept wrapped up away from the rest, clean gloves, a separate sauce bin kept in a cabinet, and a clean ladle to scoop and spread it. All a systematic routine. The only issue for the extremely sensitive may be that the pizza pan has holes in it, and is baked on the same surface as regular pizzas (as far as I could tell). But I'm very sensitive to even trace gluten, and have never had an issue yet (Though I take Enzymedica GlutenEase, just in case).
In the past, many locations tended to overcook it & the crust would be quite charred and dry. But here in Milford this time, they cooked it more lightly (maybe less intensely, which took a slight bit longer but that's fine), so I was able to better appreciate how amazing their GF crust is! Just like many high-quality pizzas I used to eat before I got intolerant. Great flavor and texture, yum! :9 And the Classic Red sauce is so delicious too!
Their phone app is pretty poor, unfortunately, and ordering from the website is wonky too (it offers a Gluten-Free filter, but that gives no results. But if you use no filter & just pick a pizza, you can then select gluten-free or No-Doh crust)... But going in-person and picking out toppings is fun, so I prefer that anyway. The awesome old lady who did my order this time was such a joy to interact with. :3 And you can earn points toward discounts or free pizza (Mondays earn double-points).
I highly recommend this place for pizza cravings! :D
