I popped into Ray's to potentially buy some meat to cook for dinner and was very impressed with their allergen protocols. While they are not a dedicated GF facility, they are stringent and extremely knowledgeable about allergens in their sausage making process. Every day they start with a cleaned production area on the ones that have the fewest allergens like gluten, soy, garlic, etc. The butcher advised that three of the sausages labelled GF in the case were good to go but if I were celiac to avoid a forth, the smoked flavour, because it was stuffed last after some other flavours that were not GF. They strictly follow this order every time to control allergens. I felt confident purchasing some bratwurst to cook up and they were delicious!
