Great place to eat. A friend recommended so we went without looking at all the great reviews. We were only in town for two nights and had dinner both nights trying different dishes. Owner has a great personality making everyone feel special. Staff provided great friendly service. Chef (who has celiac) created her own GF items including the fantastic garlic and cheese naan bread. 👍🏻👍🏻

As a Celliac it is hard to find a restaurant that I'm completely comfortable eating at. The chef is a Celliac, the service is great, the food is delicious, and most importantly I felt great afterwards! If your going to eat anywhere in Steamboat eat here!

Fantastic food, great service! Owner is Celiacs, so super contentious regarding gluten. I had delicious gluten free naan for the first time since my diagnosis! They may be bringing in some gluten free microbrews too, local to CO. Enjoy!!

Wow. This is hands-down the best curry I have had since moving back to the US from the UK four years ago. My (non-celiac) family agrees. I made sure to go twice during our stay in Steamboat so I could try as many dishes as possible. I'm a bit embarrassed that I hugged the chef on my first visit, but I couldn't help myself after feeling so well taken care of. Great place, great staff, amazing food. Tip well when you go - they deserve it!

Amazing! I can't say enough. We couldn't decide what to have for dinner so went with the recommendations on here and were glad we did. I believe my husband and I tried almost everything on the menu. We started with the Onion Bhaji and it was incredible. We then had the GF naan, stir fry veggies, cooling rita. My husband had the Saag and I had the tikka masala and both were amazing! After we had to try dessert because of the reviews in the flourless chocolate cake. So glad we chose this place. We will definitely make it back here again. The owner and our server were great and personable as well. Great job guys!! Thanks so much.

GF beer, GF naan bread, and curry- what a wonderful combo! The food is great! Wonderful curry dishes and a yummy salad. The owner is personable and attentive and is fun to listen to his accent. We came back again for more.

Absolutely wonderful experience! The food and service were both exceptional. I had the gluten free bread with garlic and cheese and I may need to make an annual trip to Steamboat just for that! Red Bowl has an extensive range of GF options. In fact their entire menu is GF, except the naan bread, but they have GF naan bread, just ask. As it turns out the chef is a celiac so you know it's good. Good prices for a ski town. Only beer and wine, but they do have GF beer and some GF ciders. Deserts are all GF. Try the "Flourless Chocolate Chili Cake"!

Lots of choices, very knowledgeable. Owner is celiac so knows what she's talking about instead of just guessing! Menu is arranged by spiciness level, has good intensity and can add more spice with the blend on the table that they make themselves. My kids devoured their dinners and asked for more! Very good GF naan too. Definitely a great place to go!

The best place in Steamboat to eat healthy, delicious, gluten free food! Everything is prepared on site but the husband and wife team, the cook is a coeliac and also prepares food for nut & dairy allergies.

They even have deals in the local paper & online. We love the Red Bowl!

The vegetarian options are full with fresh produce and garbanzo beans.

The Red Bowl has a full beer and wine bar, which complimenfs the meals perfectly.

They are open 7 days a week too!

Where to begin. We went to this restaurant the other night with nine people, five gluten free, four not gluten free and three of the nine dairy free. To say that we had an incredible experience is an understatement. The GF naan is to die for. We tried each of the curries except for the except the vindaloo and one was better than the next. While we wanted to try desert, we were so stuffed from the meal that we could not eat another bite. Highly recommend, not only for the great food, but also for the friendly accommodating staff.

This is a very gluten-free friendly restaurant, and the food is amazing! The staff are very personable and attentive to what you need, especially if you are celiac.

We met the owners and we were able to meet Astrid, the chef. She herself is celiac. It is great to have a celiac preparing my dinner:o)

Wow. I don't even know where to start. This incredible curry restaurant is owned by the kindest family from New Zealand/Australia. The chef, Astrid, has Celiac disease and the entire menu aside from the "regular naan" and the huge array of beer is gluten free. But don't worry, they have insanely delicious GF naan, too!! And Bard's gf beer and cider options. We tried 4 different curries and everyone, celiac or not, LOVED their dish. We even ordered a second plate of GF garlic and cheese Naan when we were already stuffed to the brim because it was so good. Oh and they even make their own chocolates! And the teas are amazing. I really cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We were treated like family by the staff and will return whenever we are in town. This place is a must for anyone GF or not. Seriously.You will not regret making the trek up Lincoln to 11th in the cold!
