I absolutely loved the root veggie confit and their gf pasta. I only wish they would make their chicken parm gluten free. The menu was well- marked as to what was gluten free and what could be adapted. The atmosphere was unique and charming. We had a great server too- his name was Mark.

This place is a disaster. Their ordering system (using QR codes) does not work correctly -- your oder disappears, reappears, appears on someone else's check, etc. Does not inspire confidence when you are ordering gluten free.

Waited almost an hour for our food to come after ordering (iced tea alone took 20 minutes) and sure enough -- my gluten free order arrived on regular pita. Glad I asked, or I would have been very sick.

This place is a wreck.

Excellent GF bolognese - a little pricey but worth it. I was with a group of four and everyone enjoyed their meals. Bloody Mary's are awesome. Service was a little slow but we weren't in a hurry.

The waiter was knowledgeable about what was gluten free and it tasted good, but one of the other employees was rude to us about our celiac needs. Also the meatballs weren’t gluten free. Overall, best thing to order is the gluten free pasta and Italian sausage.

This restaurant is by far one of my favorites for gluten free options. I love their shrimp and grits, and their gluten free pancakes are the best I’ve ever had. The service is phenomenal. We’ve been probably 8 times, and have always had great service. They have all been really knowledgeable about celiac disease.

My daughter (6) seldom gets pasta so we thought we would try on a very quick trip to NOLA. Staff was wonderful! They were giving free cookies and the owner whipped up a batch of gluten free just for us. Really great GF pasta noodles.

Staff was great with accommodating the gluten allergy. GF pasta is available for a $5 charge. The red gravy tasted great! Another gf option was pancakes.

The menu was clear which items were gluten free, and they offered home made GF pasta substitution. I had the bolognese with GF linguine was amazing. No issues at all. The menu didn’t have a ton of items but was good and the spot was a cute dive.

Came here on a friend’s recommendation - they didn’t have a lot of choices but I had the best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. They will also make GF pancakes (5 of them) to order.

They don’t have anything other than a couple omelettes for breakfast. Even those come with gravy so you have to make sure they leave it off. Should not be on a gf list as they don’t actually cater to us except some pasta substitutes

I had the carbonera which was good, but $5 charge plus $1.25 split plate fee is ridiculous. Can't believe they expect me to order a full meal for each of the kids (4 and 2), they had the eggs flourentine to share. Yes it does state the split plate fee on the menu, but is missed the $5 gluten free charge. Gluten free options are limited as well and not very clear marked on menu, server struggled to find it.

I was excited to try Red Gravy, so we actually went out of our way to go. It was "meh". We were there for lunch, but VERY limited gf choices, so either breakfast or pasta. I really cringed at the $5 up charge on gf noodles, making a $20+ lunch. I ended up with a bean/kale/sausage soup and instead of a calzone the gave me a muffin from Girls Gone Vegan. The soup was good...but not knock-your-socks off.

I was very excited to eat here and then had a family emergency. I was unable to cancel my reservation. I was then charged $25 for the privilege.

The food is probably alright, but I'm marking "No" on Celiac Friendly because the owner can't be described as friendly.

Funky decor, delicious (gluten free) shrimp and grits. Had a great late breakfast here and my non- celiac husband was as happy with the food as I was. We had a knowledgeable server and I did not 'get glutened'. I'd return!

Great food, my wife is celiac and a very sensitive when it comes to gluten. We had breakfast there today. The blueberry muffin was awesome and the omelette was perfect. My wife did not get sick, this is priceless. The host was rude, and not kid friendly, but we would come back as it was safe

I cannot express my full appreciation for this place, and owner Roe. call ahead to make sure, but they will most likely not only have fresh made gf pasta, but ravioli! I thanked Roe for making hands down the best gf pasta and ravioli ever, and she told me to come back and she'd have lasagna for me! Thank you Roe!! she also sells gf/vegan deserts made by a local bakery. My boyfriend who can eat anything he wants said the gf pasta was amazing. Please go try Red Gravy regardless of whether you are gf or not...you will not be disappointed!

Hands down one of my favorite places traveling ever. Our waitress was amazing. Roseann the owner was so amazing. A ton of options. Handmade GF pasta. Lots of egg meal options. So helpful and accomodating. Great dessert options. We even went back for more. This place is awesome and nailed every ounce of GF Celiac friendly.

Not a lot of options but the ones we had were amazing. I had Shrimp and grits and they were better than what I had at NOLA. They have a new gluten free pastry menu and the carrot cake raisin bar was awesome. Have to come back again. Came back the next morning and had the florentine eggs. Wow. Think it was better then the shrimp and grits.

They only had three options when I went today, but they are celiac friendly? "Down the shore" omelet, florentine eggs, and shrimp and grits is what the waitress told me I could have.

I suppose that is great, but I went off of the guiding reviews on this app...and yeah... Three options, in my opinion, isn't super amazing....food arriving now.

Just finished up my down the shore omelette. Can I just say- IT WAS DELISH. "The red gravy " is unbelievably light and packed with flavor. Grits, yummy.

I would come back again. The sangria is bomb too :)

Wonderful food. Absolutely no problem with gluten free. - they have FRESH GF pasta! The staff is helpful and friendly and made us feel right at home. We came on Sunday and Spider Murphy was playing the banjo while we ate... Wow! We are only in NOLA for a couple days, but we will be back before we go. Finding GF food is hard here (flour and roux in everything) and finding a place I can eat without worrying is fantastic!

I read the other reviews and opted for the expensive ravioli. Ha! I added a piece of gluten free Italian Sausage. HOME RUN!!!

The server was very knowledgable and he had me at "we use different water." The "red gravy" was awesome and I had no ill effects from anything - I'm pretty sensitive. There were quite a few gluten free options at this friendly place!

Additionally, the drink menu is wonderful too. My husband had a chicken special that he was was outstanding.

My wife and I ate here this weekend with friends and loved it. This isn't one of those places where the only gluten free things they have are salmon and salad. From what I could tell I could have almost any pasta dish gluten free! The food was wonderful. The server was awesome, funny, and made good recommendations. This is one of those places where it seems like the owners and staff really love what they are doing.

The menu is relatively small, and almost every single item includes bread. They have house-made gluten free pasta made with arrowroot, but it's an extra $5, and the dish is already ~$20.
