Eating out can be hard being coeliac.

Always trying to suss out the menu ahead of time, and probably having a limited selection and still being a little unsure that what comes out is safe.

Last night I went out to dinner with a group of colleagues and a banquet menu was ordered. I notified ahead of time that I was coeliac and another colleague was gluten free. On arrival the waitress located me and asked me if I was gluten free or coeliac (which I confirmed coeliac) and for every course staff came back and confirmed what I could eat - which was EVERYTHING except ONE item which they made a substituted item vey similar to my colleagues.

I was over the moon the level of care taken and service offered to help me have a relaxed meal and I didn’t feel like a special diet crazy! To say I’m appreciative is not enough and I had to share with all of you to let you know.

ALSO the food and service was amazing!! I do hope you check them out. Btw the menu shows declared allergens not the other way around. See legend at the bottom.
