Made aware of this place from the app. Asked and answered that meats are gluten free besides the ribs. Got 1/2 lb of brisket and 1/2 lb of Texas style pastrami. Was delicious. Healthy portion. Couldn’t have any sides but wife got spicy pickles and said they were delicious.
Although their website indicates their meat and sauces are gluten free, something got me almost immediately upon eating the brisket, pulled pork and cole slaw. I also sampled some sauces. Beware of high chance of cross-contamination and unknowledgeable staff. I was asked twice — by two different people— whether gluten free meant sugar free. Against my better judgment, I ate lunch there anyway based on the website.
Most of their menu is gluten free. Staff is very knowledgeable. I had the brisket, pulled pork and potato salad and it was so good plus I didn’t get any reaction. I do suggest that of course you tell them when placing the order about your dietary restriction but the guy who is cutting the meat and getting the order ready I say you ask him to change gloves because there is bread there and maybe he made a sandwich earlier. All their sauces are gluten free and delish. I will definitely be going back.
