Little food is actually gluten free. Waiter said everything would be guaranteed cross contaminated. Gf alcohol options though!

Updated Jan 2021. No gluten free menu anymore or even indications. You can get some things gluten free but now you have to ask about it all and hope your waitstaff knows. Downgrading my previous 5 star review.

Ordered nachos and a side of guacamole. Explained being celiac and they said there were no ingredients that were a problem. Was severely sick within 5 hours and hadn’t had anything else that could have been an issue. Probably cross-contamination since the menu is full of gluten and therefore the kitchen too. My waitress was delivering all kinds of plates filled with buns etc. right before serving our plate could have even just transferred that way. Also terrible slow service even though there were only 3 other tables. I wouldn’t waste your time if you have other options.

Our waitress knew exactly what celiac is and told me the kitchen would change their gloves and be very careful. She knew the fryer was unsafe. I asked where they got their delicious burger buns and when the waitress asked the chef, he gave her some to give to me! Fyi it's Galexy dedicated wholesale bakery. The burger was delicious!

Such a fun atmosphere!!! Delicious appetizers, drinks and dinner. Definitely will be back if we are ever in Boise again!!!

We really love this place! Quality ingredients and I feel very safe. Gluten free buns and great care taken. Everything I’ve eaten here has been fabulous! The gf bun is awesome.

The waitress seemed very knowledgeable about gf. I thought they had a good selection. We will be back!

Ate here in NYE and had a fantastic meal. I have never gotten sick after dining a The Reef! I will be back!

we went there twice and never had a problem. staff is knowledgeable and/or willing to help with inquiries. they have GF buns. food is great. will go back any time. great alternative to fries are the hash browns which are not done in the fried.

I had great steak tacos here. Ask for a gluten free menu. Our server was super helpful! Wonderful meal, and I didn't get sick! I'm really sensitive.

I had a fantastic gluten free meal. They have gluten free buns for sandwhiches. I had the salmon sandwich. It was amazing.

The Reef has outstanding food! Never been dissatisfied there. Very good gluten-free menu, the GF buns and burgers are great, and the Pad Thai is excellent. They do NOT have a dedicated fryer for their fries, so beware! They also have awesome specialty drinks
