Not celiac safe, do not stop here! Based on previous reviews we attempted to have lunch here. None of the 3 employees knew anything about gluten free. I was told “we have gluten free granola”, “well you know what has flour” and “I think the tamales are gluten free”. Needless to say we left, I did not fee comfortable eating here based on the clueless staff.

Most all of the menu is gluten free and if you have Celiac, the staff will make note and take extra care to avoid cross contact as best they can. Lots of yummy and healthy options with great portion size!

I ordered a Tamale Plate. The tahini sauce is made with tamari, so gf safe. Husband ordered an Acai Bowl, which has gf granola in it. They do have flour tortillas, but it appears to be the only gluten containing ingredient. The owner happily showed me his recipe to confirm I would be safe with all my allergies. Our juices were delicious, as was the food. We'll be back for sure, next time we're in Hood River.

Everything on the menu is gluten-free and less you order a burrito. It's a great place if you are vegan, paleo, or gluten free. My daughter who is celiac had a Buddha bowl and it was delicious. They also offer delicious smoothies. There is a very low risk of cross contamination.
