Call ahead! We stopped here on 9/21/23 based on the reviews but it was closed because of a fire over a year ago.

I came here based on reviews and I’m not disappointed.
I have Celiac and asked when I was seated about tips for GF. The gentleman who seated me was friendly and let me know they have gf bread but nothing fried is gf. I asked about cooking my burger separately. He went back to ask the cook about cooking separately from other things and he came back saying the cook said she could cook my burger in a pan or she can clean the grill to cook it. I opted for the pan so it was less work for her and being INCREDIBLY grateful to be catered to! My 8 year old also ordered a kids burger, gf with bread for the bun (it’s sliced gf bread, not a bun which is TOTALLY fine!).
The waitress was incredibly sweet and I wasn’t made to feel like I was an inconvenience…which is huge. Absolutely coming here again.
Oh! and the clam chowder is gf and SO good! I ordered a burger, side salad (I don’t use dressing) and a cup of chowder. The burger patty is hand formed and delish!
Just FYI, though I am Celiac, I have never had reactions.

This is a true bar and grill. We tried ro take our kids there, daughter has celiac. No minors are allowed.
The staff were friendly and honest about what they can do gluten free. They don’t have a gluten free fryer nor grill but they do take precautions if you ask. I’m very high sensitive to cross contamination and had no problem with a bun free burger. It great food and at a good price!

Gluten free food is often a challenge on the Oregon coast, but with a 9 yo celiac, we have to play it safe. Rendezvous has a variety of GF options, and the waitress was very attentive to our concerns and informed about their menu and its limitations. They do not have a dedicated fryer or grill, but their homemade clam chowder is naturally GF, and she promised to ask the cook to be extra careful about cleaning the grill before prepping the GF garlic toast. My daughter loved the chowder and toast, and I agreed it was excellent. My non GF eaters enjoyed their burger and fries. (Their menu contains a variety of standard American offerings.) The prices are reasonable and the service friendly. The decor of the restaurant side of the establishment is nothing to write home about, but neither is it unpleasant or dirty. Will return when life takes us to Tillamook at dinner time!

The owner was the one serving us and she was super friendly. She was willing to help with gluten free options and made sure her kitchen staff cleaned everything and pulled everything from fresh contents to eliminate cross contamination. She asked if I was gluten free or celiac, and knowing I was celiac was extra cautious to eliminate risks. Super sweet place to dine.

They were very very careful. Yes, the waitress and cook can be overheard, but it’s all good. Great burger grilled carefully not to be cross-contaminated.

We stopped for lunch, waitress was somewhat harsh. I asked to have a BLT with grilling the bread as they don’t have a dedicated toaster. When she placed the order there was a very loud discussion, we could hear every word, about the fact the cook would have to be bothered to get butter out of the cooler and so on. We will see how I do. I’m a little nervous
Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The gf pasta was strained in a separate strainer so there was no cross contamination. They said they used a dedicated area to prepare gf food. The food was great and our bellies were full!
