We were there in autumn 2023. At that time they did not have a gluten free fryer. Staff were very friendly and helpful at our first visit and made mashed potatoes as an alternative to fries to go with our burger. The gf burger bun was fine. When we visited again a few days later the restaurant was more busy and staff seemed slightly overwhelmed and not so eager to cater for our special needs. No mashed potatoes this time.

Visited this high end ‘strandtent’ (restaurant at the beach) a bunch of times. GF breakfasts have been possible for quite some time, especially with their tasty and crisp GF buns. Recently more GF options were introduced for lunch and dinner. This week I got to enjoy a very tasty vegetarian GF smash burger on a GF hamburger bun. It came with GF fries (baked in separate oil). Good going, Republiek! The only they really need to do is mentioning which dishes are or can be made GF on the menu. I will return soon.
