We used to eat here many years ago! I recently had a good experience but I played it safe. Got a fillet and grilled asparagus. The wine and champagne were very good and we got to see a couple of alligators lol! Ours waitress was somewhat knowledgeable, and asked if we wanted bread at the table (I said No). They do have a gluten feee menu but it doesn’t include desserts so I’m wondering why the crème brûlée wasn’t on it. I figured that items cooked in the oven could be risky (???). I didn’t get the pork chop as it is broiled/oven cooked. I would recommend the redfish but I can’t have shellfish and it comes with that on top. I didn’t want to pay the full price for the dish since I can’t have shellfish but if you’re ok with that, I would totally recommend their seafood! Everything was fresh. My asparagus spears were huge and very tender. The fillet was excellent. I do wish we had gotten a better table but it was a busy evening and the restaurant was full. If you are visiting New Orleans, this is not near the city at all. This is in Crown Point near the alligator swamp tours so plan accordingly. Overall, I would recommend.

Yes
after being closed for 2.5 years from a fire and flood, they've reopened 02/2023. Gluten free menu no longer available..... But server and manager are both very knowledgeable about the choices and there are several!
They have a gluten-free menu with some pretty tasty options. (I had the catfish almandine and it was very good!) However, I’m unaware what measures, if any, they take to avoid cross-contamination in the kitchen. What I do know is that I enjoyed my meal and didn’t get sick!
