I lived in Trier for 4 years. I was 2 times in there, and was 2 times dissapointed! Yes, they have an extra Card for allergies, but IT IS wrong! I asked the waitress If they Put flour abouve the potatos and she Said yes! But before the waitress told me, that IT IS glutenfree! Then I explained, that the potatos are not glutenfree..she appologized and nothing happend.
The second time i explained what happend, and If they can guarantee that IT IS glutenfree, no flour used etc. They simply said no and that i could go somewhere else. Please pay attention.

They have a menu with allergens highlighted so you can make allergy related decisions for yourself. About 1/4 of the menu is gluten free. The staff were friendly and tried very hard to be help, but spoke only a little bit of English. Still, my food was tasty, and I felt safe (gluten-wise) eating there.
