COLD FOOD AND HARASSED BY CHEF I asked the chef if the food is gluten free, he did not understand me and we went back and forth on Google translate. He said maybe the rice was not gluten free, he couldn’t seem to read the translation that rice is naturally gluten free. He didn’t answer my question when I asked what he adds to the rice. I took the risk and ordered food there. The food was ok, the fish dish was an entire fish. My main complaint is that the food was not hot. I also asked for vegetables and he did not give me any. When I went inside to pay, the chef took the opportunity to speak to me in French in front of his other customers, and scolded me for not learning French while in France (the irony being he had a Spanish menu and when I spoke in Spanish he couldn’t understand me). He tried not to give me my change, so I stood there putting up with the humiliation until he gave me the money. It may be world restaurant by name, not “worldly restaurant” in attitude. I hope I wasn’t glutened on top of this terrible experience.
