Codes on menu indicated what dishes contained gluten. Not that much choice, but felt safe with the grilled chicken, roasted veg and baked potato, which was delicious! The gluten free beer was also good!

They had a menu with about 14 common allergens listed with each menu item labeled with a letter if it contained any of them. I got a plain chicken breast, roasted veggies, and a potato with herb cream-or something of the sort. The veggies were the best!

Good place! Not totally amazing but very very workable and yummy.
Their obsessive allergen labeling is very helpful for those with additional allergies, since individual components of dishes are labeled in detail and can be eliminated while the rest of the dish is left intact.

Great place-good German food. Very lively. No specific Gluten free menu but all dishes are clearly marked with an A that HAVE gluten. One GF beer on offer.

Arrived feeling confident and was told anything with an (A) on the menu, could be substituted for GF. My Coeliac daughter chose the meatballs. 10 minutes after ordering, the waiter reappeared and apologized, saying the meatballs contained breadcrumbs. Without supplying the menu again, he suggested the grilled chicken and baked potato, which my disappointed daughter agreed to. She was finally presented with a small piece of chicken and a massive potato, drowning in sour cream. Not something she would usually choose. Whilst we left with no ill effects, it was an expensive dinner that she didn’t enjoy and was chosen for her.

We loved it here. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, he took time to explain the menu to us and my food was brought out separately to the others. Three of us are, only myself GF, all our food was delicious. The menu was clearly labeled and there were a few choices that I could have had. I chose the sausage and mash with cabbage and just ommited the gravy....I even had a GF beer. Or two

Absolutely great. Limited choice compared to others but we both remained safe and the waiter helped considerably. Lovely German food and they have one gluten free beer too.
