Restaurant Mikado

Had a great experience here! The hosts did asked if we had any allergies, but make sure you remind your waiter & chef!!!! I don't think the hosts relayed the message because the chef looked suprised when I told him, then began asking everyone else in the group about allergies).

I chose sushi as my starter. When it was time for mains, He lit up the grill and made all my food first with gluten free soya sauce! Then made everyone's else's after. Fortunately it wasn't awkward to start eating before everyone else as they were all being entertained with another firey grill show. The staff serving us were so fun and so great!

I am also allergic to dairy so could not have any of the desserts. They were kind and put together a plate of fresh fruit for me, but I like to have wine for dessert so I had the too🤗
