This place was alright. I had the daal which was pretty good but not what I was expecting given the raving reviews others have left of this place. The server said that the onion fritter appetizer is fried in the same oil as the samosas so I stayed away from those. Didn’t get sick and the place was cute; recommend if you’re looking for a veg & GF option!

MUST GO!!! Cash only place. This traditional Indian food was the best I’ve had by far. The owner pointed out everything gf! Started with a papadum and bajias which were incredible. We had prawn masala and Indian chicken curry (spicy) and basmati rice. All delicious!

First off, no one has mentioned they are cash only. I feel this is very important to know. There is an ATM basically around the block, but I feel it is best to know going in. The waitress check with the chef to make sure everything I wanted was in fact gluten free. Let me tell you, it was delicious. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more. It is small so if you a large group I would call ahead. It appeared they may take reservations.
Enjoy!

One our favourite places to visit on this trip. Had two gluten free starters and all the mains were gluten free. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Only issue is it’s quiet small but very popular so would definitely recommend a reservation (even for lunch).

At this authentic (spicy!) Goan restaurant (a former Portuguese colony in India), the owner herself reviewed my husband's Portuguese gf translation card, informed the super friendly staff and helped us eat safely from most of the menu - including fantastic paparis (freshly fried lentil wafers) and "bojem" (fried chickpea croquettes). Our very-sensitive-to-cross-contamination celiac was completely safe with two curries, the two appetizers and two desserts including a chickpea flour-based confection and homemade mango ice cream. Beware all the food comes out spicy :) no mild here.
