Review of Retreat Gastropub

Oh, I wanted to like this. I had such high hopes. Nothing is marked gluten free on the menu but the waitress was knowledgeable. They had homemade gluten free buns/bread/flatbreads. I ordered the burger which was probably half a pound of meat. However, it was raw!! in the middle. I had to send it back (I had ordered it medium) They brought out another one is it was rare. I didn't bother eating it but they didn't offer any solutions or money off or anything. The fries were overly seasoned (though in a dedicated fryer) The ketchup was homemade but could possibly be glutenous because it tasted like it might have soy sauce in it. Additionally, the bartender lit a cinnamon stick on fire which made the whole place smell like incense which made me quite nauseated. Also, I got sick from the little bit I ate. My gluten-eating husband got sick too. I would definitely avoid.
