I don't know what happened with my order, but it was actually atrocious. I paid $34 for a steak, and it was two small burnt slivers of dry meat that's impossible to chew. I also got a soggy potato sliver that was also burnt in some places. It was absolutely impossible to enjoy my meal and it was difficult to stomach. I would not have paid even $5 for this.
I come here any time I’m craving a fried chicken cutlet! The items are clearly marked gf and I haven’t had any issue. There is cross-contamination so it may not be ideal for extremely sensitive folks, but I have celiac and have not experienced any issues.
While we had to explain what celiac disease is, the service was great. Three quarters of the menu was marked gluten free and they made sure that there was no cross contamination and made sure to let us know that each dish that was brought out was gluten free. The falafel to our surprise was actually gluten free because it is the only item deep fried on the menu.
This restaurant serves delicious upscale small plates and has excellent service. The staff has extensive knowledge about dietary restrictions and almost all of the dishes are gluten free or can be served without pita bread. We come here frequently and the food is consistently fantastic and always safe for people with allergies. We have brought lots of friends and family here and it’s always a hit. The cocktail menu features inventive cocktails - it’s a definite must go if you are in the area.
