They seemed very careful and marked my order gluten free. Asked if it was an allergy and I said yes. They even changed gloves, but now I feel very sick. Ok, a bit later and I am fully glutened. I am in extreme pain. I ate nothing else that I didn’t make and nothing packaged. Fwiw, I had an avocado, bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich on gf bread. Well, I ordered gf bread.

Great avocado bacon lettuce tomato sandwich. No gluten reaction, and they had a variety of other gluten free options.

They use shared surfaces for their hot sandwiches but can make any cold sandwiches with gluten free bread. Overall it was delicious and I felt great after.

We went here because of the awesome reviews, but the staff was so rude! I am a very apologetic person, and I don’t like the extra trouble that not being able to eat gluten causes. But as you know.. we have can’t eat it and we HAVE to ask questions. I asked a question about their gluten free bread, and the person at the register immediately went to get a manager, who was so annoyed that she was interrupted that she’s just said, “if you have allergies, then you don’t want anything here!”
I was shocked. You guys gave it such good reviews. So I stuck around and trusted the group, and I ordered a Spinich Bacon salad. My husband asked if they could change their gloves for me. And the lady at the register said “I’ll go tell them.” I don’t think she did.
Then they bring me a salad that has croutons. I explain that croutons contain gluten, and then they get mad and start saying that I didn’t tell them no croutons! Guys, croutons were not listed as an ingredient on the salad. At all. I didn’t know to say “no croutons.” But even if it was listed, I told them I’m allergic to all bread (including the gluten free stuff because of yeast), said gluten free multiple times, and specifically asked them to change gloves to avoid cross contamination with bread. Then they said they remade it (after continuing to argue I should’ve known there’d be croutons despite it not being listed for the salad) Again, I don’t know if they changed their gloves.
My non-confrontational allergy-free husband was about to lose his mind on my behalf. He said “I think this is review worthy”. It was wild. 😳 I’ll update if I get sick.

I’ve was delayed for a few hours in the airport and I have Celiac Disease. This deli was a life saver for me. Very friendly staff and told me not to worry . I had a sandwich that was wrapped very carefully for me. I would highly recommend if you have a gluten allergy.

Refreshing to have a safe option at the airport. When you ask for GF bread they ask if it’s a preference or an allergy and have separate prep area and protocols if you say it’s an allergy. Been here twice and felt fine after both times.

Great sandwich on gf bread. Asked if I was gf for an allergy and my food seemed to be prepared separately and was packaged in a different way than my partner’s. So nice to find a gf option in an airport.

Really good! Had a gluten free bread option for my sandwich. The server was also very kind and asked if it was an allergy or preference. My ticket and receipt were both marked with an allergy notice.

This is my Go-To everytime I pass thru Charlotte's airport. The Sicilian sandwich (hot) has been delicious every time and has never given me any trouble. It is worth the sprint, even when my gates are on the opposite side of the airport.

I ordered the Cold Turkey on GF bread without lettuce, tomatoes, or cucumbers. I asked about a glove change. Unfortunately, I'm very sensitive and have to test everything I eat. Mine came back with "Gluten Found."

Not the most amazing sandwich I've ever eaten, but this place was a godsend both times I had a delayed flight out of CLT. I got the Rhino Club on gf bread. The menu says that they upcharge for gf bread but both times I went they didn't charge me for it -- just make sure to verbally confirm it's gf bread once you get your sandwich!

Good selection, knowledgeable and pleasant staff, special prep procedures! Thanks to previous reviewers for the suggestion. I really needed real food after a day of meat sticks and crackers 😂. I’ll update review if I have any issues (I did use Glute Guard as extra help in the event of cross-contamination)

Had a layover at CLT and read the reviews about Rhino Market and Deli. I got the Rhino Club on gluten free bread and it was delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It was nice to eat a sandwich instead of snacks during my layover. Edited to add that the bread did NOT fall apart!

I got stuck at Charlotte North Carolina Airport. I hadn’t eaten anything but Cheetos and a yogurt in 24 hours. I saw the reviews for this place and was excited. They were very rude and told me the gf bread is the only thing that’s gluten-free. I explained that Boars Head is usually gluten-free. They went back and asked someone a couple of times but said they didn’t know what to tell me it’s not gluten-free.

Great! The cashier asked the kitchen to do a glove change and alerted of allergies (tree nuts and gluten). And the price was reasonable for airport food. I got a breakfast sandwich.

Phenomenal sandwich. Jersey Mike’s was out of GF bread, but this place was so much better. A bit of a walk, but that was welcome. High quality meat. Lots of avocado Very filling Grateful to have a delicious option here.

Given the very few options for gluten allergies and sensitivities in the airport, this is an exciting find in here! The deli menu has some tasty sounding options. I got a hot sandwich-a Reuben on GF bread and requested to avoid cross contamination so they heated the sandwich in the toaster oven instead of on the grill. Make sure you mention your allergies/sensitivities and needs and the extent and ask questions if needed. Goo deli option with gluten free and nut free chips also.

They have GF sandwich bread! And it’s pretty good. Although there aren’t any other GF items marked on the menu, GF bread is typically hard to find at an airport cafe so I’m giving them 5 stars. The sandwich from this little place was yummy convenient.
