They bring two types of bread, one is REALLY good and the other is just okay. We had a large group so we tried a LOT of food, which you can read below if you want suggestions, but overall it’s 100% gluten free with very good options. The service is pretty shitty, so I wouldn’t come when you’re short on time (try the deli next door instead, then) but worth coming to!

to start, we got the croquetes de carne (very good), peixinhos da horta (good), and the bread with hummus (super good - see note above about two types of bread).

for the main dishes we got arroz nero di sépia (some people loved, some people thought it was just ok), pad thai com lentilhas (super good), arroz de pato (very good), and the xerém de legumes (good but nothing special)

for drinks and dessert we got the arroz doce classico and the mousse de chocolate - both were delicious! all the drinks were great too, we got the rice margarita and rice sour.

Very nice GF restaurant. Good selection of foods. The bread is excellent. It is a treat to be able to go to a restaurant and have bread and olive oil as part of your meal!! Friendly service. They also have a dedicated GF deli and bakery next door.

It was great to eat somewhere where I felt safe and my family enjoyed. However they were definitely having some issues with service tonight. My pad Thai came out cold and with the wrong sauce. We waited 45+ min for our entrees. Someone else was missing items even after they finished eating. Take away orders we’re going out incorrect multiple times.

Amazing meal. We had croquetas, risotto, salmon, and the duck rice. 100% gf food. The homemade bread was fluffy and delicious, and all of the food was so good. Even the non-gf people loved it. Highly recommend!

I was assured fully gluten free and everything on menu was labelled as such. Great food, GF gyozas were really nice, had a couple cakes including a pastel de nata that had been made in the deli. Amazing, highly recommend!

Delicious dinner. All is gf, bread is wonderful and they have a lot of choice from meat to fish. All is tasty and fresh. We went with tired kids, very late at night, and the personnel was very patient and kind. highly recommended.

We had a beautiful lunch. I had the shrimp pad tai. My husband had the shrimp risotto. We had the vegetable potstickers and tempura green beans as starters. Everything was delicious.

Place was clean, quiet, but a little tricky to find. It is around the corner from the Rice Me deli and bakery. It also has different hours from the bakery, so just be certain to check their website.

Had the meat croquettes to start. Very tasty, but maybe a little overpriced for what you get. Had the duck rice as my main. Great flavor. Comes with bits of chorizo sprinkled in.

To drink, had a lemonade, which might be very different from what you are used to. Was not sweet at all. Was basically fresh squeezed lemon juice with some mint. Very bitter.

Staff was super friendly. Worth a trip.

Amazing food. I was really happy to have veggie gyoza which was really crispy and peixinos da horta which are green beans fried in batter which is a tradional Portuguese food. My main and dessert was very delicious as well. Non GF family also enjoyed a lot.

Great food! I started with the vegetable dumplings. They were crisp with tender fillings, dipped in a light and flavorful sauce. The duck rice was mellow with good texture. and subtle flavoring. I paired it with a cheap but tasty glass of vinho verde. For dessert—the lemon mousse, which was light, zesty, and not too sweet. The meal was great and the owner was warm and welcoming. A really good, safe meal can be had here!

Everything was delicious. We had Gyozas for an appetizer, Duck Rice, Salmon with black rice and rice pudding and the citrus mouse for dessert and I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It is dedicated gluten free so there’s no possibility of contamination. They had lots of choices on the menu. There are pictures of each menu item. It was the best food I’ve had in Portugal and I hope to come back here sometime. Highly recommended.

Wonderful restaurant, so many GF choices. I had the salmon with honey sauce and black rice, my husband had a burger (GF bun) and a wonderful bottle of Douro red wine (for only 17 euros for the wine). Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The GF bakery is right next door.

This is my favourite place in Lisbon. Their food is just amazing. They are very understanding with food allergies. I have IBS besides Celiac and they were able to accommodate it. I totally recommend this place to anyone!!!

Fantastic gf operation. I learned that not all rice is strictly gf. Yes., for brown rice sometimes a gluten containing grain is processed on the same equipment as the rice. They are aware of that and only purchase certified grains. The owner has mostly a fresh farm to table operation. The gazpacho is the most tasteful soup that I have ever tasted in my 71 years. It tings with a fresh Vegetable aroma and taste. 5+ stars if possible but you have to like rice!

Lovely restaurant with mainly rice-based dishes. When I was there, everything except one dish was fully gluten-free. They are certified by the Portuguese celiac association and very knowledgeable. The food was a bit bland for my taste and the service was slow, but I did not get sick.

Really neat little restaurant, basically everything is gf (they have regular beer, but the server said there was no gluten in the kitchen), and food was great. I tried croquettes for the first time and there are a bunch of different rice-based dishes that are fun and different. Other allergens also clearly marked on menu.

Extremely lovely, the owner explained that they make everything gluten free as a safe haven for celiacs in Portugal. The food was so good we took the trip up from Baxia twice during our weekend in Lisbon, once to visit the restaurant and once to the cafe where they make excellent GF versions of traditional pastries and bread for sandwiches 😊
