Finally! A place in Brussels where I can get actual food! I've been traveling through Europe for almost a week now, and I've spent a few days in Brussels. I had yet to find somewhere that hadn't caused an allergic reaction or just been disgusting. (And I am not picky when it comes to food) This restaurant just appeared out of nowhere on the street with a giant sign that said "Free Gluten"- which I initially balked at until I realized what it meant. I took my chances going inside because it looked a bit nicer than what I was dressed for (See- backpacking through Europe) but when I entered I was ushered inside and told to sit, even though it was rather busy. Waitstaff were friendly and funny. They Explained the GF options- either fusilli or penne pasta, and all the sauces were GF. I had "the best cappuccino in Brussels" as the waiter said, and I had to agree. For my meal I ordered penne with the caprese sauce and it was amazing. And large portions size too. The pasta was around 15 euro, and definitely worth it in my opinion. Please go here and ask for gluten free! They are very nice and most waiters speak English. Fairly close to the Brussels Central Train station, and the city center.
