Stayed at Thon Hotel for work and was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The restaurant offers gluten free dishes in the evening and breakfast buffet in the morning.
I was happy with the buffet, gluten free and other dietary options had its own designated area. Everything was marked with allergens and the food was sealed. They also had tiny desserts! I absolutely recommend the mud cake!
The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about gluten, and would warm up bread or rolls in a gluten free toaster if asked.
I had dinner at Rifugio della Nonna in the evening, the menu was limited but they had some gluten free alternatives. I had the beef barbacoa with potato purée served with chips. The meat was tender and good, could use a bit of flavor. They also offer gluten free pizza.
For dessert, I had the almond cake with cinnamon gelato. The cake was marvelous I could not tell that it was gluten free!
