Please be very careful with ordering from Rik's. You need to speak to the chef himself, the servers do not know. I called a total of 3 times to ask which items would be gluten free and vegetarian. I specifically asked about the quinoa salad, which they will make without bacon. But it is NOT gluten free. I didn't find out until after I ordered it. They refunded my money, but it wasn't a pleasant process. They probably have more to offer the meat eater who wants a dish that is grain-free.
I really enjoyed eating at this place. I had a roasted vegetable rice bowl. They didn't have a designated fryer for chips and fries but you could get rice and other substitutes for sides. Also, their staff were very knowledgeable and told us we were able to have. Our waiter even double checked the ingredients in the barbecue sauce.
