Here’s what we got: Catalan-style Octopus, GF Four Seasons pizza, GF Gustosa pizza, GF tiramisu, and a liter of the house white wine which was sparkling. I cannot say enough good things about this meal. I always love having a fully separate menu with knowledgeable staff - when we walked in, they immediately asked us which menus we needed before even being seated. I received GF bread sticks alongside the normal bread basket for my boyfriend. The octopus was not like any I’ve had before and was so tasty and fresh. It was accompanied by GF bread that was delicious: salty, almost… cheesy (?), and irresistible. The Gustosa pizza was by far my favorite, though the Four Seasons was also quite enjoyable. It was a nice touch for a bottle of spicy oil to be added to the table when the pizza was served - it provided the perfect balance to the pizzas. Delicious tiramisu. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to a friend, Celiac or not.
Large GF menu. Difficult to choose as it all sounded delicious!
(Italian review below)
They're part of the Italian Coeliac Disease Association (AIC), which means they're certified to serve coeliac-friendly food.
They have a separate gluten-free menu and the staff is extremely knowledgeable.
There's many options, most of which are also lactose-free and some are even vegan.
They do serve pizzas but I haven't tried it.
I had the orecchia di elefante, a type of schnitzel which is traditional in Milan, it was very tasty.
The only negative part is that it's on the pricey side, but I had a great experience.
If you’re visiting QC Termemilano Spa, this gem is just a short walk away and absolutely worth every step! You *have* to try the Milanese cutlet—it’s absolutely delicious and such a treat to enjoy an authentic Milanese dish (a rare luxury when traveling gluten-free!). We also ordered pizza, which was fantastic, and of course, a meal in Milan wouldn’t be complete without tiramisu. The taste and texture were out of this world!
They assured us they have a dedicated gluten-free kitchen to avoid cross-contamination, and they offer gluten-free versions of every single item on the menu. 1000% recommend!
I use to go to Be Bop in order to eat a good pizza. They also cook different dishes for gluten intolerant people. I can't say anithing about ways they use in order to prevent cross contamination in the kitchen. But they put a lot of attention to the service gluten free food at the same table where eat also people without allergies.
This was such a good find. The entire dessert menu could be done gluten free and the gluten free menu is extensive. They take a great deal of care to ensure no cross contamination occurs while cooking the gluten free items. The sea bass was so delicious. This is a great spot, especially if you are dining with someone who doesn’t need to eat gluten free. Being able to order a delicious tiramisu was such a great surprise.
We were a party of 3. Was an amazing experience for all 3 to be able to have their food intolerances accommodated. What a special place…GF, vegan, soy free, lactose free. You name it…they have options for you. The food was good but mainly it was wonderful to feel safe.
Excellent restaurant in the Navigli area! The gluten-free menu is nearly identical to the regular one. We chose fish, but there were also meat dishes and pizza available. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend it!
Eccezionale ristorante nei pressi dei Navigli! Il menu senza glutine è praticamente identico a quello tradizionale. Abbiamo optato per il pesce, ma c’erano anche deliziosi piatti di carne e pizza. Assolutamente consigliato!
Went there especially because of th good reviews. The Gluten free menu on the website was different then in the restaurant. So I was a bit disappointed that I could not eat what I wanted initially. But the staff is really nice and wow they know what they are doing GF. I got a separate menu, little bread sticks a a starter and I had a very nice tuna pizza. Ohw and do try the gluten-free buchetta!!! Amazing.
This place is certified by AIC (Italian Celiac Disease Association), which guarantees that all precautions to avoid contaminations are taken. They offer a wide range of gluten-free options, including pizzas, pastas and meat dishes. If you want to try a good gf “cotoletta”, this can be the right place.
Separate prep area for really good Pizza. They are clearly dedicated to serving GF community. I should have taken a pic of their menu introductory statements. They have a clear mission to support dietary needs of the entire community.
Lovely place. Extensive GF menu. Good pizza. Very accommodating staff. I did, however, get sick after, so not completely gluten free even though they say they make pizzas in a separate dedicated GF area. They gave me a free lemon sorbet after, so there is a slight possibility it could have been that instead of the pizza.
Excellent pizza and service! Gluten free menu is very large and reasonably priced. Did not get sick
