I had the calamari and asked if he grilled not breaded. Brought my gf bread pre packaged. Not a lot of options but the calamari was extraordinary

Terrible experience. They, of course, had naturally GF foods such as seafood and meat. However since I am a vegetarian I didn't inquire how it was cooked. They had zero GF options like pasta and pizza. The food looked very good but I settled for a salad which was good but not great. Very disappointed to have wasted a meal and not gotten something I've been cravingaGF pizza or pasta!

Another reviewer mentioned disinterested and rude waiters. Ours was clearly disinterested and didn't want to be bothered talking about it.

Takes a very long time to make the gluten free food. I appreciate the time taken for safety’s sake, and I did not get sick, but it took over an hour.

The customer service is only ok, I felt like a huge pain to them. The food was alright but not great.

The staff was short and unhelpful. The menu says “gf pasta available” and by reading the below reviews it sounded like I could substitute the pasta dishes with the gluten free pasta. I asked the waiter and she complied when I ordered the Pasta Puttanesca GF. They brought me Gnocchi- when we denied the order they said “yes this is the only gluten free available.” We were very mad because we expected actual pasta. They tried to play dumb and said “it depends on what we have available.” But they should have told us when we ordered that it would be Gnocchi. Nothing was done. It’s a shame because the view was stunning.

Gluten free and safe, but dicey communication and staff seemed unwilling to make it a great experience.

We came by and spoke to staff in the morning to set a reservation for that evening. They were helpful, noted it was a small kitchen, so cross contamination could happen via the air, but assured us there would be gluten free options - pasta, gnocchi, etc.

When we arrived in the evening, several different waiters were assisting us at the outdoor table, so we had to repeat our allergy concerns to a few people. They told us despite what we heard earlier that there was no gf pasta available (even though we were the first seating), and we were encouraged to do the gnocchi. We asked about other dishes, and various secondi (meat/veggie dishes) were available, but gnocchi was the only carb option, and they weren’t very willing to work with us to create an enjoyable experience.

Ended up ordering gnocchi (delicious) and fish with white wine sauce (plain fish on a plate), so we had to share to have a full meal experience.

They did bring out individually packed and warm gluten free bread!

Ordered a wine, they were out, so brought me a different kind without giving me an option. It’s assumptions like that that erodes your confidence in how safe a place like this is.

That said, next day, no stomach issues!

All you need to know is I ate here 3 times while in Positano for 4 days. Super friendly staff and amazingly delicious food. You can get any sauce with gluten free pasta, which has a great texture and is light. I fell in love with the Caprese pasta salad, super fresh. Like waiter runs out down the street for fresh local tomatoes on his scooter if they run out FRESH. Beautiful view of Positano too. They deserve all the awards they've been given.
