We went there today and they told us, that they have special kitchen utensils for the gluten free food. And our waitress really watched out for us. We wanted their gluten free chocolate cake as dessert, but she came to us and told us, that she put it next to the normal cake, because there were only two pieces left and she didn’t though, that customers with a ‘real’ celiac disease would come and order it. She said, she would feel bad giving it to us and apologized many times.
We had tomato soup as a starter, which tasted really good. Our main dish was spaghetti carbonara. They make the noodles themselves and they taste pretty good. The restaurant has a gluten free chocolate cake but we couldn’t try it yet
The restaurant was filled when we went there on a Monday. It’s better to have an reservation or else there probably won’t be tables available. The waitresses were overwhelmed though. We always had to wait for a long time for drinks, they brought us our starters two times and didn’t clear the plates after we finished with the starters. We were there as a group of four and one of us got his main dish after all of us finished ours. Maybe they just had a bad day, we will go there a second time and then decide if we like it or not
Edit 2021: We went there again and it was great. We had noodles again and since the chocolate cake incident last year, the gluten free cake has never bern placed to the normal one again. The cake tastes amazing as well as their main dishes.
