Ristorante Pizzeria Zum Schwanen

Wir waren dort mit meiner kleinen Tochter (4) essen, sie ist die Zöline in unserer Familie. Ich habe mich vorab telefonisch erkundigt, da wurde mir schon gesagt, dass gutenfreie Pizza und Pasta möglich sind. An dem Tag selbst wurde uns das nochmals bestätigt. Auch die Bolognese war glutenfrei, sodass sich meine Tochter dafür entschied. Sie hat die Portion fast komplett aufgegessen, was bei ihr ein richtiges Lob ist. Bei Unsicherheiten der Kelner wurden all meinen Fragen direkt mit der Küche abgeklärt. Berechnet wurde das Gericht ohne Aufpreis. Da meine Tochter sehr symptomatisch ist und auf alles sehr stark reagiert kann ich sagen, es war definitiv gluten- und kontaminationsfrei. Wie freuen uns sehr und kommen sicher bald wieder ♥

Entered the restaurant through the garden and was immediately seated at a table for two a little bit on the side. Even though it was early, the restaurant was busy. I received the regular menu and inquired about gluten free option. The waiter assured me that I could order anything of the menu and he would make sure that it was gluten free. I had read that the restaurant would provide gluten free menus upon request, but that didn't happen. Later I was told that they should have given that to me. Anyway, I ordered a regular pizza (Tomaten, Schinken, Pilze) but the gluten free version. It was super lecker and indeed gluten free. I didn't go inside but the garden is nice and the entire place has the typical Italian Charm (ein bißchen gestresset and high energy). I was able to catch one of the waiters during a less busy time, and had a really nice chat with him about the weather, the food, NYC and Las Vegas... I would totally come back here and then maybe insist on the gluten free menu. In addition to the gluten intolerance, I am also allergic to garlic and onions. Never did I feel that it wasn't safe for me to eat there. At first, I was a little nervous, after all, should I really trust a waiter I had never met before – even if he insisted "Wenn ich Ihnen sage, dass es glutenfrei ist, dann ist es glutenfrei..." ?

Really nice service personnel. Food is mainly Italian. All Pizza and Pasta dishes are gluten free. Menue is also displaying other allergies.

We stumbled upon this place as we got out of the museum Schloss Philippsruhe. The menu is allergen and additive listed so you can navigate through it without much hassle. The staff is very attentive, friendly and helpful if you have any questions. We had a shared cold plate and a tomato soup that were great. My husband had a rumpsteak a la pizzaiola and I had the lamb chops. Both of the plates were very tasty, the meat tender and we enjoyed them a lot. They have a good variety of Argentinian beef cuts of which we are great fans a respectable selection of wines that cater to variety of tastes and a superb espresso. All in all a very unexpected and lovely evening. If ever around the neighborhood again we shall go back for another great dinner.
