Great find! Noticed the menu board said gluten free options. Discussed with knowledgeable waiter who said they had gluten free options but wasn’t celiac safe. Mentioned some dishes (salads and pasta) that will be gluten free so felt fine eating there. Excellent food and service. Gluten free bread in a packet served with starter. Two gluten free beers (bottles) on and all the deserts except one was gluten free (including 4 different cheesecake flavours)

Finding gluten free in Pisa was a little difficult, it’s mainly a case of asking if they have anything gluten free on offer rather than them advertising it. We found one restaurant which we decided to eat at, it had the lovely water spray which was well needed after the extreme heat was getting to us. The gluten free option I chose was cannaloni which was nice, and they even brought out separate gluten free bread for me which was packaged up. Nice little place on the street to people watch and enjoy a light bite.

Consigliato!!

Went there for lunch. One of us only is celiac. Asked if they have gluten free manu and the guy (waiter) said that they don’t have two separate kithen but they have dishes gliten free. Almost everything bruschetta with gluten free bread, pasta, meat, burger with gluten free bread, meat etc. The girl ordered a bruschetta with tomato and a burger. Wr double checked if it was really gluten free because the burger bread was amasing. For dessert she tooked a cheescake. They said that the cheescake is gluten free for everyone so it is even more secure. Highly recomand this place

Some gf options were given after asking. Waiter could not answer the question whether the risotto in the menu was gf. Food was mediocre. Service personal was friendly but forgot part of my order. Quite disappointing.

Wow!! I had the lasagne, it was amazing! The manager was brilliant and made me feel at ease straight away. There was about 4 gf pasta options made that day, I could have tried all of them!
Me and my partner both ordered lasagne, mine gluten free, the portion size was the same and I was also given bread in a secure package, it was soft and warm. Amazing!
Staff were friendly and welcoming! Loved my experience. Great local rose wine!

When we arrived one of the staff members told me that she has Coeliac so they understand what is needed to keep Coeliac customers safe, and another was also very helpful when I asked for safe meal ideas. They had a number of GF options eg Lasagne, Tortellini, salads and a few other mains dishes. They also have the most delicious little GF cheesecakes topped with a berry sauce. As well as that, it was a cute little restaurant with a nice atmosphere and excellent customer service.

Visited this restaurant today. We were only given 3 GF options - bruschetta, lasagne and roast pork and potatoes with some prepackaged bread. No doubt the salads could have been made GF if we’d requested. Regardless - we enjoyed our meals - my daughter loves bruschetta but rarely gets have it as does my son with lasagne. Our waiter was full of energy, attentive and generally just looked like he enjoys his job and life. The upbeat music also made for an enjoyable lunch on a hot day.
About a block from the Tower, this is a small place but has indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is not labeled but they know everything that is GF. When you ask for a table just let them know you need gluten free. We had the GF bruschetta which was amazing. Also had the burrata and prosciutto. For main course had the cannelloni which I’ve never had GF before. Soooo good.
