We had an amazing experience! Waitstaff was very knowledgeable and willing to make sure everything was as ordered. As df and gf it can be difficult to order in some place a. They made it so easy! First lobster roll in years and it was delightful!

The food was fantastic. They have a separate gluten free breadding for all their fried items. However they do not have a separate gluten free fryer so for a sensitivity it was ok, but for Celiacs it would not be a good place.

My burger was on a regular bun, then they put it on an udi’s bun without making me a new one until I asked if it was a new burger. The server was very apologetic and took care of it right away.

I went here last night. I was told they NO LONGER have gluten free flour. I was offered a salad with lobster on it. Really? When I wanted fried clams? No thank you. Sad, their gf seafood was pretty good…Don’t bother going here if you’re gf, well, unless you want a salad…

While they offer GF fried seafood there is no dedicated fryer. They offer a GF bun for the lobster rolls, but it is Udi's and was not at all fresh. Very disappointed. Staff does not seem very knowledgeable or conscientious about allergy exposure.

We asked bout GF options, she mentioned that we could get GF flour on fried food. I asked about a separate fryer, NO. Went with a gf bun with lobster roll. I told her that I could not have the sides, she said said she could sub in a salad or fish chowder for an up charge. (A health reason should not get an up charge for not being able to enjoy the same foods). Well, I subbed the chowder. The Fish chowder was at best a potato soup. The GF bun was grilled to a burnt roll. Somewhere in this, I gained a cross contamination ans horrible sickness. BTW, the waitress never did check to see how anything was. Painful experience.

Staff is very knowledgeable. The fryer is not dedicated, but the do offer Gf coating for fried food. I've been coming here for years and have never been glutened.( Not celiac). I love the lobster roll (Gf roll)or the lobster bruschetta (on Gf bread). You'll be thrilled with your visit here!!

Had all the right answers and is definitely Celiac friendly. Wait staff is knowledgeable, service was very good and the food was excellent. A little pricey but worth it.

As of now (July 2020) they have indoor and outdoor seating and are following all Covid guidelines..

Gf rolls & buns. No gf bread. No dedicated fryer. Service very slow. Not worth the time or money.

The mgr and waitress were very assuring so I had the baked haddock with gf topping. Did not feel well at all after. Cross contamination a huge issue here. No gf pasta as stated previously

Almost the entire menu can be made gluten free with gluten free buns, bread and pasta. Food is absolutely amazing and the views at the location are perfect. Great selection and knowledgeable staff who confirmed everything with the cooks. My husband had the fish chowder which is said was to die for, we also got lobster bruschetta and large lobster roll. I was expecting a “large” gf lobster roll to be about the normal size lobster roll but pleasantly surprised to see just how big it was. We’ve been several times and will continue to make it one of our go-to places

Had lunch here today. Waitstaff very accommodating. Asked if I had an allergy or celiac. I ordered the haddock chowder, which was very good! Only gluten free dessert is vanilla ice cream, so I passed on that. Nice atmosphere. Would recommend.

Roberts Maine Grille, notes gluten free offerings on its menu, offers gf rolls, and has consistently exceptional food prepared and served by excellent staff who genuinely care about the food and dining experience. They are great about other dietary restrictions, as well. You will be hard pressed to find a better restaurant in the area.

Waitress was very knowledgeable about GF options. I had the crab and avocado melt on a GF roll and it was fantastic!

Wonderful atmosphere, food and service. They even had gluten free breadcrumbs for my fish. The rice had no orzo so I was able to have rice. An added bonus was gluten free kale soup. You don’t often see GF soup, breadcrumbs and rice without orzo. Everything was delicious, fresh and a good sized portion. My husband isnot GF and he had a huge portion of fried fish. He said the clam chowder was delicious.

Eat here last night with my daughter who is gluten free - staff had excellent knowledge of the menu and what could be adapted or cooked separately. They had available both burger and hot dog rolls meaning my daughter could have a number of items from their menu include burgher and lobster rolls etc. She choose a bacon cheeseburger which she said was delicious!

This restaurant has an EXCELLENT GLUTEN FREE selection. Imagine a delicious hot gluten free lobster roll well I had it. They have a lot of gf options that’s not just a salad. Waitress was very aware of gluten cross contamination. I have celiac disease and had a worry free delicious meal!

I just had an amazing lobster Cobb salad. The menu has gluten free rolls for lobster and my server was appropriately aware of issues. I’m labeling this as not sure because menu said that since there is wheat on the premises they can’t be absolutely sure.

We come here every single time we're in the area. They don't have a dedicated fryer, so I usually take the cold lobster roll on a gluten free bun and a big portion of side coleslaw. They are really knowledgeable of gluten. Their hamburger is also delicious! Definitely recommend!

We had their angus burger on gf bun... Delicious! Though fryer is not dedicated, the Cole slaw that comes with it is delicious! Server brought crudités to snack on in leu of their crackers and cheese. Cute place! Will def be back here again!

No dedicated fryer, so avoid fried. However, very knowledgeable staff, easily navigated the options, and great seafood menu. Even brought out plates of raw veggies and dip for us. If you're looking for an oyster/ lobster/ mussels experience, this is it.

It was refreshing to go in to a restaurant and have a knowledgeable waitress. From appetizers to meals we had, everything was delicious. Waitress was fantastic!

We went with a party of 10. Two of us are gluten free. The staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable of gluten free options and restrictions. The seafood chowder was a huge surprise to find on the menu and absolutely delicious. The menu clearly specifies what is or can be gluten free and they have many options. Not clear if they have a dedicated Gluten free fryer but we did not ask. The lobster Cobb salad was fresh and had a generous portion of meat. We had four kids in our party and the choices for them were plentiful. Do strongly recommend this restaurant to all.

They have a lot of seafood but no separate fryer. Since I'm not a big fan of seafood, I had a hotdog. Not really a good place for kids unless they like fish. I think they should have more options for gf

this place is not very celiac friendly...they do not have a special menu and they changed a lot of their foods so they are longer as gluten free as they used to be...I had to walked after having a B.L.T. Wedge salad and that was all I could get....did not get a warm fuzzy feeling about them making anything gluten free...

I went here for my birthday dinner and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We went at change of shift but both of out waitresses were very knowledgable about what was safe, and that is almost anything here. They carry gf breadcrumbs, fry mix, Pasta, bread, and even cheesecake! I was able to have a lobster roll for the first time since my diagnosis, started the meal with fish chowder and fried cheese curd, and ended with a delicious dessert! Go here if you have a chance!!!

Oh my goodness this place was fantastic! I stopped by here with my in-laws on vacation because my husband noticed online they had gluten free options. As we were ordering the menu said they have gf hot dog & hamburger buns as well as gf bread crumbs. I had the hamburger (the bun was Udis) and it was fantastic. Our waitress was great about mentioning the possible cross contamination in the oil if I got fries or the breaded chicken. Plus they have gf beer and a gf dessert!
