I cam for a work dinner with a large group.I had written a Facebook message to ask about GF options, which had very promptly been answered (thumbs-up for that!!). Nevertheless, I arrived a little early to ask again anyway since their menu changes sometimes. Pam (who ended up being our server) was very helpful and let me know their chef took it quite seriously. The menu was varied and interesting. The specials of the evening were also very interesting. The appetizers are creative takes on solid standards: mussels, calamari, antipasto. I had a seasonal tomato salad (locally sourced), as suggested by the server. As a main I had the most amazing scallops I've ever had. Instead of pasta they made me corn with a tarragon butter sauce. It was so delicious, I'm certain I'll dream about it. My husband had the stuffed pork and finished it off- always a good sign. I must admit I'm curious about the pasta. They say they make gluten free pasta... I'll take them up on it.They also serve Downeast Cider (YAY!) which is a refreshing change from that Angry Orchard nonsense. They have sorbetto, as well as the usuals (flourless chocolate cake/creme brulee).Not sure about celiac-friendly, but they seem like the kind of folks that would definitely try to make you happy.
