The pizza here is incredible. I think it's the best gluten free pizza I've probably ever had at a restaurant, and although pricier than regular pizza, it is at least reasonable compared to most other restaurants. Unlike most places, they don't just use an Udis crust. Unfortunately, I ordered this pizza several times until finally realizing that I couldn't eat it without feeling slightly sick the next day. I'm an extremely sensitive and symptomatic celiac. I will usually react very violently to gluten (lots of vomiting for hours) around the 2 hour mark, but if I'm only slightly cross contaminated, I won't react as violently. Instead, I'll feel pretty crummy the next few days and my stomach will hurt and make very loud noises. Most of the time I've eaten here, I've had the latter experience, so I suspect there's minor cross contamination despite their knowledge of Celiac and trying their best to take precautions. That being said, I've never had much luck with any pizza restaurants, so after 24 years of Celiac, I finally decided it was best to give them up entirely unless the facility is gluten free or the entire prep area and ingredients are completely separate. This restaurant isn't safe for me and likely isn't safe for other sensitive celiacs, so it would be a good idea to check with your doctor to ensure your test results are remaining normal if you are an asymptomatic Celiac and continue to eat here. If they remain normal, then great! For those who are less sensitive to gluten than me, I definitely recommend this restaurant! The pizza and the staff are wonderful!
Staff was very knowledgable! I started my spiel about being celiac, and the server knew exactly what I meant. She assured me they would take the proper precautions and change everything out. This was the first time I've had pizza from a restaurant in 5+ years, and it was so good that I ate almost an entire large pizza by myself. That might be the most pizza I've ever eaten in one sitting.
I have had the GF cheesy bread and the GF pizza crust here and both are very good. The owner has been very diligent about finding quality GF supplier. I did not ask about cross contamination- I believe they would honestly say what they can and cannot manage. I am not reactive and can't speak to that level. I am GF for my thyroid.
We had a cross country meet in Brownsburg and decided to stop by Rockstar for dinner, we were not disappointed. It was nice to have three different size pizzas to chose from. Although we didn’t have any, there was GF cheese bread and a few GF soups. I wish it was closer, we’d eat there often.
They offer 3 different size gluten free crusts. Most places only have one. The pizzas are excellent. I would definitely recommend this place.
Safe Option and Great Pizza. I asked the manager about the safety precautions and they were able to check all the right boxes. They actually have 3 sizes of GF pizza and I was told they are the only pizzeria in IN that orders their crusts from this supplier. The crust was one of the better ones I have had. BONUS: The non-celiacs had the hand tossed and it was awesome too. Worth the drive if you are on this edge of town.
Best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had, extremely knowledgeable. I can’t wait to try the other items they offer!
Ordered the flatbread cheesy breadsticks and a gluten free pizza for the family. It was a win! Best gluten free pizza we’ve ever had. The homemade ranch is fire. Family owned business with a feel good story about their why behind their gluten free menu. Our waitress Sara was very sweet and helpful!
Got the (gf) broccoli cheese soup... It was amazing! Got a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and it was fantastic! So nice to have multiple options for gf dining. I want to go back to try sandwiches.
